Hello,
I bought a subwoofer YST-SW012,
The problem is that I've made the connections but nothing is coming out of the subwoofer
For the connections, I did
- I connected the cable from the subwoofer to the input output of the subwoofer and to the subwoofer out but nothing is coming out of the subwoofer, I read the manual but nothing works, I'm struggling
And the soundbar is connected to the TV via optical cable, thanks everyone for your replies.

Good evening,
Is the subwoofer properly plugged into the power outlet? Is the rear switch turned "on"?
There is a volume knob behind the subwoofer.

Hi. On which amp?
I connected the subwoofer cable to the input output of the subwoofer and to subwoofer out
input = entry so the connection is not correct! You add
to subwoofer out
there, I think you're getting mixed up

It says "Yamaha YAS-101" = soundbar, "Yamaha YST-SW012" = subwoofer.
The connection is not made via optical but via mono analog RCA.

Did you do this correctly:
1 Put the device in standby.
2 Press and hold the
VOLUME – button and the "power" button on
the device at the same time; then release the "power" button first,
followed by the VOLUME – button.
The device powers on when you toggle
between the built-in subwoofer and the external subwoofer.
The SURROUND indicator lights up as shown
in the following illustration. This means that the "surround" light blinks for two seconds and then goes out. Check that the setting is
correct. (see page 11, for the external subwoofer to be activated, the second and third indicators on the soundbar display must be off, the others lit in green)

I also want to add that you need to turn up the volume of the subwoofer using the remote control.
