Loud buzzing when I turn on the car radio

Hello everyone,

I just installed a Caliber subwoofer with a built-in amplifier.
When my car is off, the sound is perfect with no buzzing at all. However, when I turn on the engine, a loud humming noise persists, and the more I accelerate, the louder the humming becomes. When I brake or stop, the noise decreases, and I don't understand where it's coming from.

I ran the power cable along the left side and connected it to the fuse box, not the battery, with the fuse.
Then the remote cable and the X cable are on the right side (not the RCA but the other alternative cable).
The ground is well connected to a chassis bolt.

No wires are crossing to cause interference, so I don't get it.

    Maybe a surge due to a failure of the charge regulator or the alternator, you should have your electrical circuit checked.

    Remove it from the fuse box, and connect the caliber directly to the battery positive terminal with a fuse holder.

    Positive + negative power cable + ground on the left side, RCA cable on the right side.

      Thank you very much for your response, I will try. I unplugged everything since December and my subwoofer is gathering dust, I can't wait to see if the issue will be resolved.

    Hello.
    Your engine produces noise that intensifies as you accelerate.
    But where does it come from? A mystery.
    Maybe the alternator.

      I had a check at the garage, the alternator has no issues, but the noise is definitely coming from that area.

      You must have the red wire that touched the mass (black wire)
      You must have burnt wires somewhere and fuses.
      Be careful that your car could catch fire in case of a short circuit.

    One of my front speakers just gave out now..

    A friend told me that my car radio isn't powerful enough to support the 230 watts RMS of my speakers and the 250 watts RMS of the subwoofer.

    Do you think that's why one speaker has blown and I have a continuous high-pitched noise??
