Download OFX file

According to wiki, this format seems to have been abandoned by La Banque Postale in June 2015! The OFX format is used by: Money, Quicken, BanqueManager, Grisbi, JGnash, KMyMoney, GnuCash, HomeBank, Skrooge,..

From various comments read here and there, La Banque Postale "would no longer offer since June 2015 a solution for account downloads to banking software, but only the CSV format for Excel."
I see 2 solutions:
1) find an Excel to OFX converter. Who has a link to a converter software?
2) change banks. All offer online downloading to banking software.

I am also a client of La Banque Postale, I hope they will restore things as before, otherwise it will be the second option. I wrote to my online bank from labanquepostale.fr, I am waiting for explanations from them, I invite you to do the same.

I spoke with an IT technician from the postal bank who told me it had been deleted.
He said he didn't have the postal bank's rationale to explain why.
I think we need to send a letter to our check center to request a return of the OFX files...

I think we need to mass email La Banque Postale that since we can no longer track our accounts as we wish, we will be changing banks. And we should start doing it. Only the issue of big money will make them understand that we are not at all satisfied.

I sent an email to my financial advisor to complain.

The format is available again.

Can you be more specific about these malfunctions that are beyond your control?

If these malfunctions are not your responsibility, why do other banks still offer this download method?

Would other banks deliberately continue to take a risk with this format if it posed a problem beyond their control?

Eliminating a tool that poses a problem is not a solution. Fixing the problem is the solution. Ensuring the security and stability of this download method is your responsibility.

Here are my conclusions:

Either there is indeed an unsolvable problem that thus presents a risk for any bank. In that case, all the other banks are irresponsible and your clients are supposed to thank you for your radical decision to eliminate this format.

Or it is a problem that exists only with you. In that case, there must be a solution to retain this format. Not trying to find that solution presents an extremely negative image of La Banque Postale.

I may be "just a drop in the ocean" among all your clients. But know that despite all the steps to take, I am considering changing banks permanently because the level of service is no longer up to par. You have already lost me for the home loan I had taken out with you. (not out of dissatisfaction but simply out of necessity given the currently unreachable rates during a loan renegotiation)
I hope you will have many other dissatisfied clients who will push you to reconsider your position on how to solve a problem.

I managed to save the file in Word, but when you say to click, is it a right or left click and where should I be positioned?
I'm not a computer expert
Should Money be open or closed for it to integrate?

Hello, great it works perfectly!
1) replace the .ofx extension with .txt - Double-click on the file to open it with the text reader and delete the "?" at the beginning of the text - Save it
2) replace the .txt extension with .ofx and... that's it!

I confirm that the OFX option is available again, but the proposed file seems corrupted - Therefore, it is impossible to download our account statements into our tools!!!!

Same problem! Unpleasant surprise upon returning from vacation.

To integrate the entries, a solution that works for me:

Download the statement in "ofx" format from the La Banque Postale website,
open it in Word: 1st line: ?OFXHEADER:100
Delete the first character, the "?"

save (just click on the save icon, answer yes to the question, to keep the .ofx extension)

click on the file and the integration takes place.

With this solution, the integration is done correctly.
