Hello, I bought a Sapphire Radeon R9 280 Dual-X 3G GDDR5 OC
but when I connect it and turn on the PC, absolutely nothing happens. I saw on the bubble wrap that surrounded the card that it said to connect the
GPU to the "computer's power supply" but there is nothing written in the installation manual. Thank you in advance for your responses.

    Every modern power supply has PCI-E cables with 6/8 pins to power a powerful GPU like the one recommended in message 8.

    like any powerful GPU, the R9 280X must be connected to your power supply using 6 or 8-pin connectors, known as PCI-E

    according to what I found on the manufacturer's website, the R9 280 Dual-X 3G is equipped with 2 PCI-E 6-pin connectors:

    These adapters are "emergency" solutions, in case you have an old power supply without PCI-E cables, it's better than nothing.

    If your power supply is recent, these adapters are useless, you need to use the 6-pin PCI-E cables from your power supply:

    Sorry, this information does not allow you to identify your power supply for sure.
    I found online that it is a 200W power supply!
    Change it immediately, it is unable to power your new graphics card.

    Do you have a branded PC?
    If yes, please provide the brand and model of your PC.

    Insufficient power supply for your new GPU, so let's say at least the power supply needs to be changed!

    You need around a 500W
    and it must have 2 PCI-E cables, for example:

    Hopefully it fits in your PC...

    And let's keep our fingers crossed that it works afterward, as brand-name PCs often have a locked BIOS that only accepts certain equipment...

    another possible issue is your PC's configuration
    because I see different configurations for the Acer MC 605

    I see one configuration with an i7 CPU:

    in this case, installing a R9 280 Dual-X is justified (after replacing the original power supply)

    but I also see MC 605s with a Pentium G2030 CPU:

    in this case, the R9 280 will be too powerful for the CPU, it will be bottlenecked...

    what is your configuration please? At least the CPU

    OK, your R9 280 is good with an i5

    you need to change the power supply, get one with 2 PCI-E connectors with 6 pins

    according to the Acer online chat it's good, no list
