Hello everyone,

I just acquired the Samsung LE26R86BD/BDX and I'm not picking up any TNT channels and not very well the national channels either.
I tested all the outlets in my home and it doesn't work on any TV outlet in the house. I plugged my laptop with a TNT card into those same outlets and everything works great, I can pick up the TNT.
Has anyone had this problem with this screen or does anyone have an explanation?

Thank you in advance for your responses.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

I just acquired a Samsung LE32R86BD. I went to the Samsung website and found the TNT mode, so:
- on your remote control, press TV/DTV, so you need to switch to DTV mode
- press the D.MENU button
- and start an automatic search; once finished, it will show you how many channels it found.
To view the list of these channels, press the CH LIST button on your remote control, select one of the channels found and press enter.
Normally, you should receive the TNT channels + 3 Belgian channels + Belgian radio stations + all Canal+.
If you’re not receiving anything or only a few channels, it means your antenna isn’t receiving well or is poorly positioned.
I did a test in my living room with my roof antenna that I need to replace because it's damaged by chimney smoke; even for analog, I received 3 Belgian channels in digital quality + some Belgian radio stations perfectly, but no French channels.
Then, I tested in my bedroom with my small portable antenna that cost 15 euros! and I received 22 channels including M6, W9, etc., but still no TF1, France 2, France 3, or Arte.
All this to say that it’s not the television, but an antenna reception problem.
There you go, if I could help you, feel free to contact me. Christophe

A big thank you, I did the trick and it worked on the first try
This screen has amazing picture quality and reception. The problem lies in the manual which is utterly useless.
I struggled a lot to get it started. My picture quality was poor because when connecting through an antenna to the DVD, I had to use the EXT 1 scart socket and not the 2.
Good luck to others. I hope Samsung hangs around the forums a bit and will change their user manual!!!!!
