What does "address line 1" mean on forms?

Hello,

I want to register on the money-making site Skrill, but it is asking me for an Address line 1. I would like to know what that is exactly??

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 27.0.1453.116

It's simply your postal address. You have the option to add additional address details such as specifying an apartment number. That's why there are several lines.
