My Canon Pixma MG 5550 (purchased at Christmas!) "swallowed" a stack of 24 sheets at once instead of just one!
hence the paper jam!!! I saw, when I turned it over, where it was stuck. How can I unblock the jammed stack without damaging the drive rollers or the various mechanisms?

The worst part is that I had indeed untied my packet of sheets! But it seems I pushed it a bit too "deep" into the locker.
A big thank you Baladur13! It really is child's play when following the video step by step.

Often, a small, useful gesture is enough to separate the sheets before loading:
