Good evening, as stated in the title the USB 3.0 ports on my computer no longer work. I’ve read a lot of forums, downloaded plenty of software that didn’t help, etc... From one day to the next they just "disactivated." They only work to power the Logitech cooling platform. Otherwise my computer mouse or my mobile phone don’t work, (not even charging for my phone). It’s disabling since I only have one USB 2.0 port... Please kindly help! And happy new year to everyone!!

    Good evening

    Is your PC recent?
    Is it still under warranty?

    See you later

Yes, my computer is a little over a year old, but unfortunately it's no longer under warranty.

    Hello

What is the exact model of your PC?
    What is the operating system?
    32 or 64 bits

    Thank you

    Good evening

    Go to Start
    In the Search bar
    Type: devmgmt.msc and press Enter.

Check if you have a yellow question mark or exclamation point?

If yes, does it correspond to the USB 3 controller?

    See you later

It shows me a small logo with a yellow exclamation mark on the "USB Bus Controller" logo.

On this site: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/inspiron-15r-n5110 in the Chipset section. the first line: Wistron USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver should be downloaded and installed; this should fix your problem. Let me know; thanks. @+ -- ***-----------------------Security Contributor-------------------------*** We have all been beginners at something one day. But knowledge is the reward of diligence.
