Hello, I bought a new PS3 and when I enter my PSN address and password it works but my user profiles are no longer there. How can I recover them? Thank you :(

Backups yes since they were on your PS3's hard drive. However, if you synced your trophy collection with the server, you should have them since they are stored on the PSN server and not on the PS3's hard drive to avoid losing all progress when switching PS3s. However, it is possible that it may take a day or two before they become visible to you. Patience is therefore required, hoping that you synced your trophies with the server; otherwise, all your unsynced trophies are lost forever.

You need to redo them. For the PSN account, put "Use an existing account" and include all the necessary information again.

Alright. When you turn on your PS3 and have chosen your session, you're faced with the PS3 menu.
On the far left of your menu, you have the column where the option Create a New User. is located.
You click on this option, type in the name of the session you want to restore, and hit OK. Do that first, and then we'll continue. -
Now, go to the column in the menu named PSN.
At the top of this column, you'll find the option Sign Up.
Click on it, and you'll arrive at a new page where you're given two choices: either Create a new account (New Users) or Use an existing account. You choose the second option.
You will then be asked for the email address and password of the existing PSN account.
Once that's filled in, all you have to do is click Continue, and that will be it.
Repeat the process for each session you want to recover.
And Boom, that's how you get Chocapic!
