Welcome to Toshiba PC Health Monitor. This application proactively monitors several PC functions, such as power consumption, battery health, and cooling system performance, and communicates key operational conditions of the system. It recognizes the serial numbers of the system and individual components. It tracks specific activities of the computer and their usage.

The monitored information about the system, components, and usage is compiled and recorded in a file on your computer's hard drive. This includes: general information about the computer (e.g., product name, model number, part number, serial number, BIOS version, firmware version), general information about components (e.g., video device, audio device, network device, hard drive, SSD, optical drive), operating system information (e.g., operating system version, operating system installation date, Direct X version, Internet Explorer version, installed update program and driver lists), account/component uptime (e.g., power switch, power adapter, battery, LCD screen, fan, sound volume, wireless LAN, Docker, USB, Express Card), date of the system's first power-on, system and component usage (e.g., keyboard [FN key count]), power consumption settings, battery [temperature, charge and discharge capacity]), CPU, memory, backlight [on-time], thermal module temperature). The file containing this information is very small, only about 10 MB or less, for one year of system usage.

This collected information is used to monitor system performance, communicate operational conditions to you, and if necessary, assist in diagnosing issues if the computer requires servicing. Toshiba may also use this information for its internal quality assurance analyses. Subject to the above usage restrictions, collected data may be made available to entities located in a country other than your own. The data protection legislation or the level of protection for personal information in that country may differ from that in your country or region.

The transmission of the compiled information occurs during the installation of TOSHIBA Service Station on your PC and after activating the "PC Health Info Connection" button and the PC Health Info Connection function. For more details, please refer to the "Notice & Acceptance of PC Health Monitor Data Transmission" section of TOSHIBA Service Station. You can access it by clicking the "PC Health Info Connection" button.

The PC Health Monitor software or its use does not alter Toshiba's obligations as stipulated by its standard limited warranty. The terms and limits of Toshiba's standard warranty apply.

We recommend activating PC Health Monitor now, but you may choose not to activate it or to do so later. If you activate it, you can disable its monitoring function or uninstall it whenever you wish using the "Uninstall a program" function in the control panel. Uninstalling PC Health Monitor will automatically erase all information it has recorded.

By activating PC Health Monitor, you agree to the terms and conditions, as well as the use and sharing of the information it collects.
