Hello,

I have a Toshiba Satellite C660-2D6. I set a password for starting the computer and in the BIOS entry, it was working perfectly before, but now I can't start the computer when I enter my password. How can I remove the startup password? I have already tried removing the CMOS battery several times for a longer period, and I have tried short-circuiting the two points of JCMOS and JPW behind the RAM stick, but the problem still persists, it keeps asking for a password.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 21.0

Hello, you go into the BIOS setup and look for the category regarding security; you should find delete password or something similar. To know how to do it, it would be necessary to have the same computer as yours because BIOS programming changes regularly and also depends on the year, the brand of the motherboard, etc.
    Best regards.
