Hello,
I'm looking for the title of a TV movie or film that aired twice on TV; at least, I've only seen it two times, and each time the TV was on strike, so I couldn't know the title since I missed the beginning both times. But what I can tell you is that it's the story of a young girl who lost her mother and works in her father's circus as a tightrope walker. Her father is violent and doesn't accept that a girl has this role in the circus, and he forces her to dress as a boy. I believe she has long red hair. She makes a friend at school who discovers her secret, and I think she falls in love with him, but I'm not sure.
I haven't found anything online except for someone else looking for the same thing but without any answers.

    In the TV movie, is the man a trapeze artist? He does a trapeze act without a net and falls. Is he paralyzed in his arm?

      I'm sorry, I don't remember that, but suggest the title and I'll check online if it's it :) Yes, he's a trapeze artist and he wants his daughter to do it. If someone knows the answer, it could help others :)

    I also searched for this TV movie for a long time, as I also saw it on France 3 one day during a strike.
    As we like to complicate things in France, the title has nothing to do with it...
    The French title is Le temps d'un été.
