Hello everyone, I'm looking for an old TV show from the 80s.

In my memories, the story is about a young man with a disability in his arm, who becomes a doctor (or surgeon) in the 40s/60s. The plot revolves around the young man's determination to become a doctor (or surgeon) with a love story intertwined.
At the end of the series, the doctor regains the use of his arm after an operation.

So, if anyone knows what I'm talking about, I would be infinitely grateful. :)
