Hello,

I'm finalizing a sale on eBay and someone contacted me asking to call them.
But the country code seems strange to me:
00 22.
So I replied by email to this person, but it feels like a scam or some sort of fraud.

Because when you search, the first thing you do is go on google/bing/yahoo (or https://www.ecosia.org/ https://ecogine.org/ for those in the know)

and I don't see how you could miss the answer to your question with google.

According to my research, +0022 does not exist.. So, it seems that you should be wary of this number.. Try to contact the client and make sure of their good or bad faith.. Just in case, I'm attaching the list of dialing codes:

Thank you very much.

Indeed, I did some research on Google and this area code is from Ivory Coast.
The number was actually 00 225 etc...
I did find exact copies of emails from these people pretending to be buyers ..... they ask for first name, last name, address, landline and mobile phone number.
What made me suspicious is that the person claims to have been born in France
but was abroad for work reasons.
