How to connect a karaoke microphone to a DVD player Solved

Hello,

I bought 2 karaoke machines, the best of hits, but the problem is that I don't have the Mic.in jack as they say. I've tried all the jacks, none of them work, and there's no manual. Thank you for your response.

If your microphone is a condenser or electret type, connect it to the (mic) input of your computer, using an adapter if necessary, then connect the computer to the sound system (and/or TV depending on your video card). After that, it's a matter of adjustments.
But with an amplifier, forget it (unless, of course, you have a mixable mic input).
Your microphone is probably a very low-end model: don't overthink it!

Well, of course, I tried on my computer and nothing. I don't know how to explain it, but there was a tube with several columns, and when we spoke into the microphone, it went up, and when we stopped speaking, it went down. So that means the sound is detected but not picked up by the microphone.
As for my amp, it's a Mc FARLOW model MFA-1200
180W+180W HI-FIDELITY STEREO AUDIO AMPLIFIER (if that can help you)
PS: no, because there is no space for the battery, except in the second karaoke where the battery is necessary because the microphone turns on...

According to the manual, your amplifier has an effective power of 2X20W (RMS). This is indeed a technical maximum for such a simple device operating at 12V.
Other indications (music watts, peak, PMPO, etc.) are dishonest marketing arguments.
That said, this doesn't change anything regarding the input connections.
