Driver issues for my HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT51N drive

Solved

Hello,

I have an ASUS laptop and I'm having a problem with my DVD drive; it no longer reads my DVDs and CDs. The PC is new and it is impossible to read a CD, yet the PC indicates that the updated drivers are the most performant, but there is still a yellow question mark with error code 32. I can't reactivate my drive!!!! So if someone could help me, it would be very useful!!!
I have done some research on my computer and what it tells me: The driver or service required by this device has been disabled. Another driver may provide the same functionalities. (Code 32) Now I don't know what to do.
Thank you for your help.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 17.0

Hello if you're on Vista try this!!!

Normally, your problem should be resolved.
I've had this issue several times, and I even had a so-called repair from my vendor where they formatted the PC instead of actually looking for the problem. Photos erased, files erased, etc., and the problem persisted.
Since then, with this, I haven't had any problems.

    I hope this helps you.

    Best regards.

    Hello,

save this file on your desktop

    http://docxp.mvps.org/b1n/DisparitionCD.inf

then go back to the desktop, right-click on the file and in the list that appears select "install" and restart your PC as is.
