Le film que vous cherchez est probablement "Le petit sorcier" (titre original : "The Amazing Wizard of Paws"). Ce film raconte l'histoire d'un jeune garçon en fauteuil roulant qui s'embarque dans une aventure fantastique avec un magicien. Les éléments que vous mentionnez, comme le rêve avec le magicien, le duo sombre, la quête pour récupérer un objet, et la révélation que les personnages de rêve existent véritablement, correspondent bien à l'intrigue de ce film.

      Wow, I've been looking and searching for years... and thanks to you... thank you... I remember that in French, the music or a piece of music from the film had a strange effect on me... I have the impression that the soundtracks of the original version of the film are different, if I'm not mistaken.

      No, unfortunately, I'm looking for it too and for now, I haven't found anything except the used English VHS and the movie on YouTube.
