Hello,
I just updated my desktop computer.
I bought a 4GB memory stick at 1600MHz.
However, my PC detects it as if it were at 667MHz.
Do you have any idea what the problem might be? If there is one?

Configuration:
Windows 7
Intel Pentium G860 clocked at 3 GHz
ASRock B75 Pro3 motherboard
Corsair XMS3 4GB DDR3

You have the answer, unless my knowledge is outdated, they can only be reached in "dual channel," which means you need at least 2 sticks, QED

On the motherboard manual, it is indicated that with a Sandy Bridge CPU (which is the case with my CPU), the maximum is 1333 MHz.
667 MHz is half (minus 1) of 1333 MHz
Is the 1333 MHz achievable only in dual channel? -

an Intel Pentium G860 has a FSB of 1333 MHz to operate at 3 GHz
and it won't require more than that
even if you insert a RAM stick rated at 1600 MHz, it will run at 1333 MHz
if you only have one stick, thus single channel
the BIOS will multiply the base clock frequency of the stick by 4
333 MHz x 4
if you have a dual channel kit, the base clock frequencies are added
and the BIOS will multiply by 2
( 333 + 333 ) x 2
333 MHz; 667 MHz are rounded values
there are decimals and tenths
