VGA male vs VGA female: Male connectors have pins and are used to plug into female ports, which have holes for the pins.

Hello,
I hope you slept well
I woke up with a question on my mind

What is the difference between a male VGA connector and a female VGA connector?
What modification is there between the two?
Which one is more commonly used?
Which one should we use for our PC screens? And TVs?
(no DVI of course ^^)

I hope our responders will teach us a lot, starting with me, and for future computer experts ^^'

    So to explain a bit better, the ports we have on our current PCs are female ports (VGA) if I understood correctly ^^',

    I'm trying to search on Google, I've come across VGA issues, VGA sales.... X)
    I have other things to do, but understanding the why and how is better ^^'

      A male connector plugs into a female connector, whether it's VGA, DVI, or any other type of connector...

      You don't need a university degree to know that ^^

    LOL... Some people ask the dumbest questions...

    It's the same difference as between a wall socket and the plug of the electrical device you are going to connect to the wall socket.

    The male VGA plug connects to the female one.
    Before asking a question: 1° Your brain doesn't wear out if you use it, don't hesitate to use it!
    2° Google is your friend, the search engine of CCM is too, do a search!
