For those who have or will have the same problem as me, I found the solution on another forum: you need to disconnect the power from the computer while it's running! Simply unplug it when it's on AC power and remove the battery! There you go! Plus, I tinkered with the key! Thank you to the people who took the time to respond to me.

Hi,  It might be a "physical" issue with the keyboard, a key that is stuck down!!!  Try using another keyboard if possible.

Hi, you should try using an external USB keyboard. If it still happens, it's Windows; if it doesn't, it's the keyboard.

So it's a Windows problem or a possible virus; in that case, do a startup scan first... with your antivirus.

If the restoration works, it could be due to either a virus, the motherboard, or a keyboard driver issue... Try the scan and then come back to the site catch you later

if you hear the beep from the key when starting the PC, it definitely comes from your keyboard

there are websites that offer laptop keyboard replacement

otherwise try to remove the key (I know it's very difficult without breaking it) and check if something is stuck underneath (as you said it calms down and then comes back)

but anyway stop running scans and diagnostics in Windows; it's clear from what you say that the problem doesn't come from there.

Hi everyone, I'm having the same problem with my Asus N53S laptop. I installed Backtrack on it, but I don't think it has a big impact. In any case, I'm experiencing this bug on ALL the keys of my keyboard. I just have to press a key and it repeats infinitely... after a while it freezes, stops, and the keyboard simply doesn't work anymore until I hard reboot.
I did a system restore, but that didn't help. I've plugged in an external keyboard and everything works fine.

Is it a connection issue between the laptop and the keyboard? I would like to know what you think before I risk my battery like in the message above...
