    I'm not sure, but I think you're confusing (like many people, including myself) the actor from American Pie and Adam Sandler. I think what you're looking for is Happy Gilmore (in French, Terminagolf) by Dennis Dugan, a film from 1996 with ADAM SANDLER

    I'm not sure because he doesn't play baseball but hockey and is quite talented....

      Thank you, MissPinky, this movie is good. Yes, he is talented; it’s just the style that’s missing. Just a correction: the actor from American Pie is indeed Jason Biggs, but he resembles Adam Sandler a lot, who plays well in TerminaGolf. Thank you very much.
