Hello,
As mentioned in the subject, my GRANDIN L19V99S-2 LCD TV purchased last September is stuck in standby.
It all started last night around 8:30 PM when I was watching Canal+ and tried to change the channel, but it was impossible. The remote control wasn’t responding at all. It couldn't be the batteries; they're nearly new. Furthermore, on this model, I can't change the channel directly from the TV since there are no buttons except to switch between AV/HDMI1/HDMI2, etc.
So after 15 minutes of pulling my hair out trying to change the channel, I decided to unplug it and plug it back in, hoping it would stop "glitching"... but now it's worse, it remains stuck in standby, and it's impossible to turn it on, as the remote still doesn’t respond at all, and as mentioned earlier, there are no buttons on the front or back of the TV to turn it on, except for the AV button...
I've heard here and there that some models may get locked by accident, although I wonder how I could have locked it by mistake... but of course, I didn't keep the manual. It's a very basic TV, and I didn’t see the point in keeping the manual... today I think it might have been useful after all...
If you have a suggestion, an idea, or if you have the same TV, thank you in advance for your valuable help....

Very good suggestion, however you can be sure that I've already thought about it for a while... but I can't seem to get a hold of that damned invoice....

Hello, With your details, the customer service should find the duplicate invoice
If paid by card, present your bank statement
Bring them the TV and see if it is locked or malfunctioning (if it’s just locked, the unlocking operation will only take a few moments)
Conforama customer service can even provide you with the TV manual
Good luck -
I just called customer service.
Indeed, they told me to return to the CONFORAMA store where I bought it, and they would find a duplicate of the receipt.
However, the TV is going to be sent for repair for a while....too bad.
Thank you anyway for the assistance provided and the answers I received relatively quickly. -
