Hello,

I would like to know what the music is in the TV series Miss Marple: A corpse in the library.
The episode starts and ends with this classical piece.

Here's a link to a video excerpt to help you (but the sound quality is terrible, I'm sorry): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u775aQPGesk

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me.

I searched but I didn't find any others, and on IMDb there is no information about the music! I will look elsewhere!

That's very kind of you, thank you, but I found in my research that these two composers are the ones behind the original theme of the series, not the piece I'm looking for.
I think it's a fairly famous classical piece; the problem is that on TV they always cut the end credits, so...

    Thanks anyway :D

Hello, the episode is currently airing on TMC and the music has also intoxicated me! After some research and listening, I think it’s the piece "Zadok the Priest" by Handel (which comes from the work "The Coronation of King George II"). In my opinion, it’s the introduction of the piece (because for the majority of it, there are choirs) that has been slightly slowed down for the passages of the episode where it’s used. There are quite a few orchestra videos on YouTube. I managed to download it after 20 minutes of searching, but the work is generally available for purchase online. I hope I’ve helped you ;)

I just made an MP3 where I isolated the passage and improved the sound; if you're interested, let me know.

        Hello Valentin,
I would be interested in this MP3. I share the same enthusiasm for this wonderful piece by Handel. Thank you very much in advance.
