It probably depends on the cartridges used - is it one from your printer's brand? One sold on eBay and refilled? With Canon, I know that it blocks due to the chip - if you bought cartridges without a chip from Pearl, for example, know that your printer may not recognize your new cartridge but with the old chip - I would say that everything comes from the chips in general, at least with Canon - a piece of advice, if you have Canon, you will find a cartridge resetter at conrad.fr along with the necessary refilling supplies - the resetter for Canon is the best.

What do you mean by "no longer prints"? Is it that it doesn't print anymore or is it that the PC no longer recognizes it? If it doesn’t print anymore, did you use brand-name cartridges or compatible ones? I ruined an Epson printer (15 months) with compatible cartridges. My store was out of Epson cartridges and recommended the compatible ones (a pack of 2 cartridges for the price of one Epson). The first one worked fine, but when I changed it again and put in the second one, it stopped printing. The verdict from customer service: dead pump, estimate of €123, so I bought another printer and since then I only use brand-name cartridges, and for the past 4 years with my current printer, I haven't had any problems.

Hello, I think you should first check if your printer is installed on your PC. Then, look to see if the cable is properly connected to the PC. It happened to me not long ago, I looked everywhere and I realized that there was an expiration date on the cartridge and so I had just bought an expired cartridge!!! Nice store that understood and gave me a new cartridge. So be careful!!! A piece of advice: check where the expiration date is before buying.
