My PSP no longer recognizes my games and movies Solved/Closed

Hello everyone, I have a problem, my PSP no longer recognizes any of my games or even my movies. What should I do to fix this? If someone could help me, I would be very grateful. Thank you very much.

Salut ! You need to remove the battery from the PSP. Put it back in and turn on your PSP while holding the R1 button. Now you are in recovery mode. Select Registry hacks, then button assign is enter. Click the cross, then back and exit. There you go.

Hello hello,
it's indeed quite problematic! First thing, try to clear your memory stick (putting any backups aside of course) and then put it back in the console. If the games still won't launch, try to find a game that has a firmware update and do it (if you can).
So... are you still under warranty?

I have exactly the same problem!

My PSP turned off while it was loading the game (but not the save), and now every time I put in a disc, it spins but nothing starts!
And where it used to stop spinning when I did something else (video, music, internet...), now it keeps spinning all the time.
I have version 3.50.

Please help me if you know how to fix this!!

Hello, my PSP is version 3.40 OE-A and I also have a problem with reading ISO games, please help me and I have a second problem since I upgraded my PSP to this version, the O and X buttons have swapped in the main menu, please help me this problem is becoming really annoying.

Hello, what reading problem????? And for the button inversion, it comes from certain games; in some you can reverse it in the game options.

Hi, I also have a problem with 2 games that my PSP does not recognize when I’m on the home menu!  I have plenty of games that work, but these 2 don’t, even though they work on my friend's PSP! Hi, I completely overhauled a PSP that wasn't working anymore, but I can't repair the UMD drive. It's in good condition, but when I insert a UMD disc, my PSP loads and after 2 or 3 minutes, it says: "disc reading impossible!" Does anyone know how to fix this, please? Thank you.

so I'm the same
yesterday I changed the firmware>to 3.93 everything was working well and I played PES6 after I stopped and wanted to put a theme that I couldn't manage to install (I don't know which folder to put it in) then I played the demo of Medal Of Honor HEROES (the demo is on the MS) I finished my game and turned off my psp because my brother wanted to play burnout with me when I turned it back on it stayed a long time on loading and I quit the game and then I couldn't read any game.
I don't know if it's the lens or the psp that is bricked.
I'm going to check that with some professionals and I'll keep you updated on what they say.
if it is bricked there is something called the pandora battery (something like that) that goes in place of the battery and unbricks the psp.

If it annoys you, do an official update, format afterwards. If you have a friend's second PSP, install Dark Alex's 3.90 M33 since you're starting from scratch, that way it annoys you less. If you have a problem, just send me a message and I'll help you. I have 2 PSPs, one since the day it was released and no issues since, and the slim is the same. I'm at your service.

Salut, comme je l'ai dit à une autre personne, c'est que ta lentille ne reconnaît plus les jeux. J'ai des petits astuces, ce n'est pas sûr que ça va fonctionner, mais tu peux toujours essayer. Tu mets sur un coton-tige de l'alcool à 80° et tu nettoies ta lentille.
