Screen that stands without a base on a piece of furniture? Solved

Hello everyone!

Right now I'm looking for a monitor, preferably 20 inches, that I could connect to my netbook via VGA... The problem is that my space for this monitor is particularly tight... I only have 34 cm and a few millimeters in height to place this monitor, and above it, there is a shelf, so I wouldn't be able to place it in front, as I would then be too close to the screen...

That's why I wanted to know if there are any good-sized PC monitors that have virtually non-existent stands or that could be placed directly on the desk.

Hello  On most screens, you can remove the stand, then you just need to make sure it's properly secured so that it doesn't slip.

It's dangerous if it falls, but as long as you can keep it upright as if it were on its foot, it should be fine.

Be careful with certain screens that have their buttons "underneath"; the screen would then rest on its buttons.

But I just tried with another screen and the "bottom of the screen" is not meant for that at all and ... it's not holding ...

So when you say "if you can get it to hold as well as on its stand, in the end I would just need to put a few small things to hold it in place. Anyway, I'm going to walk like this thanks a lot for your help, I didn't dare do it I thought it could be dangerous for the screen or if it overheats.

It's certain that screens are not meant to be used this way. For the heat, you can get an idea by touching it, if it seems too hot to you or not.
