Game Rules

When a player plays their second-to-last card, they must yell "UNO" (meaning "one") to
announce that they have only one card left. If they do not, they must press the button on the dispenser TWICE (if the other players notice it, of course).
The round ends as soon as a player has played all their cards. Points are counted (see the Points Counting section) and the next round may begin. That's the summary of UNO® EXTREME.

GAME DETAILS

CHOOSING A DEALER

Each player draws a card. The one who draws the highest number becomes the dealer. If a player draws an Action card, tough luck for them because they are worth 0. The dealer distributes 7 cards to each player, forms the draw pile, and loads the dispenser. The player to the left of the dealer starts the game.

ACTION CARDS

Reverse - Simply changes the direction of play. If the game was going left, it must now go right, and vice versa. If this card is flipped at the start of the game, the dealer plays first, and then the game goes to the right instead of the left.
Skip - The next player must skip their turn. If this card is flipped at the start of the game, the player to the left of the dealer skips their turn, and it's the second player to the left of the dealer who starts.
Wild card - This card can be played after any card. The one who plays this card can announce the color of their choice or continue with the requested color. A wild card can be played even if the player has another playable card in their hand. If this card is flipped at the start of the game, the player to the left of the dealer announces a color and then plays.

Wild All - A player plays this card when they want to play all the cards of the same color from their hand. For example, if the yellow 7 is on the DRAW pile, the player can place all the yellow cards from their hand on it with a Wild All card on top. (It is also possible to place a Wild All card on another Wild All card.) If this card is flipped at the start of the game, the player to the left of the dealer starts by playing a card of the same color or another Wild All card. If that’s not possible, they must press the button on the dispenser.
Press 2 times - The next player must press the button on the dispenser twice. They then must skip their turn, and it's the next player's turn to play. If this card is flipped at the start of the game, the player to the left of the dealer must press the button on the dispenser twice. The game then continues with the next player (the second player to the left of the dealer).
Extreme Hit - The player who plays this card must announce a color of their choice and then designate ANY PLAYER they want to "attack." The dispenser is then directed to the designated player, and the player who initiated the attack presses the button on the dispenser twice. The game continues with the next player in the current rotation (the second player to the left - or right in reverse - of the player who played the Extreme Hit card).

END OF A ROUND

When a player plays their second-to-last card, they must yell "UNO" (meaning "one") to indicate that they have only one card left in hand. If they do not, they must press the button on the dispenser TWICE (only if the other players notice it).
If the player forgets to say "UNO" before placing their card on the draw pile, but realizes it before another player, they are not subject to the penalty.
It is not possible to point out to a player that they did not announce "UNO" before they played their second-to-last card. Similarly, it is not possible to point out to a player that they did not announce "UNO" when the next player starts their turn. A player "starts their turn" by playing a card or pressing the button on the dispenser.

OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME

Accumulate 500 points to win the game. The player who first gets rid of all their cards is awarded the points corresponding to the cards that the other players still have in hand.

UNO® EXTREME IN BRIEF

The dealer deals 7 cards to each player. Place a card on the playing surface to form the DRAW pile. Open the card dispenser, insert the remaining cards face down inside, then close the dispenser and set the ON/OFF button under the dispenser to the ON position.

NOTE: To close the dispenser, slide the cover until it clicks into place. If the dispenser is on, a beep will confirm that it has been properly closed.
IMPORTANT: During the game, turn the dispenser so that it is always directed towards the person who is playing.

REMINDER: Cards do not come out every time a player presses the button on the dispenser. This is not necessarily a disadvantage, especially for the player who has to press the button. A sound is made when a player correctly presses the button.
The first player must have a card of the same color or bearing the same number or symbol as the card on the DRAW pile. For example, if the card on the DRAW pile is a red 7, the player must place either a red card or a 7 card of any color on the DRAW pile. It is also possible to play an Action card in appropriate cases (see the Action Cards section). If a player cannot play any card, they must press the button on the dispenser. If nothing happens, it is the next player’s turn to play. If cards are propelled, the player must add them to their hand. It is then the turn of the player on the left to play (unless a Reverse card is played - see the Action Cards section).

If a player’s last card is the Extreme Hit card, they must play it normally before finishing the round. Once the DRAW pile reaches a certain height (as if the deck of cards is complete), shuffle the cards again, reload the dispenser, and continue playing.

SPECIAL RULES

If cards are stuck in the dispenser after pressing the button, the player who pressed the button must take those cards and add them to their hand.

COUNTING POINTS

When a player has no cards left, they are assigned the number of points corresponding to the cards that their opponents have in hand as follows:

Numbered cards 1 to 9: Value of the indicated number
Reverse: 20 points
Skip: 20 points
Press 2 times: 20 points
Wild All: 30 points
Wild card: 50 points
Extreme Hit: 50 points

The WINNER is the player who reaches 500 points first. However, scores can also be calculated by recording the number of points each player has in hand at the end of each round. When a player reaches or exceeds 500 points, the player with the fewest points is declared the winner.
SPECIAL CASE
A player may choose not to play a card from their hand even if it matches the requested card. If this occurs, they must press the button on the dispenser. It is then the turn of the next player.
PENALTIES
Any player suggesting to another player to place a card must press the button on the dispenser 4 times.
TWO-PLAYER GAME
Play a two-player game following the rules below:
1. Playing a Reverse card counts as playing a Skip card. The player who plays a Reverse card must immediately play another card.
2. The player who plays a Skip card must immediately play another new card.
3. When a player puts down a Press 2 times card, the opponent must press the button on the dispenser twice. Then, the first player takes their turn again.
CHALLENGE GAME
Challenge UNO® EXTREME: Each player is assigned the number of points corresponding to the cards they have in hand. When one of the players reaches a certain number of points, 500 for example, they are eliminated. When only two players are left, they play against each other (see the Two-Player Game section). When a player reaches or exceeds the determined number of points, they have lost. It is the last player in the game who wins.
