Touchpad not working/orange light

Hello,
About 2 months ago I bought a new Laptop and a few times it has happened that the touchpad stops working and there is a small orange light in the upper left corner of the touchpad. However, my touchpad works fine. It's just when that light is on that it does that, so I would like to know why it happens and what I can do to fix the problem (other than restarting my Laptop -_- ). For now, when that happens, I take my USB mouse and it works, but it's still annoying not to be able to use the touchpad sometimes...

Hi, I found the solution to my problem: I just need to double-tap on the hole where the orange light is. I can repeat the maneuver to turn it on or off. Thank you anyway for your help. :)
