No video signal from Philips TV and DVD HDMI

Hello,

I recently bought a Philips TV (Philips TV LCD 32PFL5625H), I have an HDMI DVD player that I connect with an HDMI cable, my TV asks me to register the device I’m using, so I register one DVD player on an HDMI port and when I play the DVD there is a white message that says: "No video signal", I have no image, when I connect it via SCART it works but the quality is worse than with the HDMI cable, but when I connect it via HDMI this message appears.

I need your help.

Good evening,  I don’t know your TV, but on mine, you need to select the source and set it to HDMI 1 in the menu. Check your manual. -- Kind regards, exla

Thank you for your help, but on my TV, I don't think I can choose, for example, AV, HDMI... I've read the manual and followed what it says, but there's still no video signal.

I had the same problem on Saturday after plugging in my new DVD recorder/player.
I simply unplugged (hot) the HDMI cable and plugged it back into the TV (also Philips) and "O miracle," the TV recognized the video signal and I was able to set up my device.
