Meaning of ^^

I often use ^^" to basically say I'm a little embarrassed or something like that; I suppose it means about the same thing.

A little update on the meaning!
Originally, and among its oldest users, "^^" continues to signify a smile of sorts and is akin to the emoji that smiles with flushed cheeks.
Among younger people, under 30, "^^" is perceived as... a passive-aggressive symbol!

In short, "Yes, we're doing this ^^" can mean "Yes, we're doing this :D" for some and "Yes, we're doing this --'" for others, to stay within smiley vocabulary. So be careful about who you use it with!

By the way, ";)" ":)" ">:(" suffer from the same problem.
