I bought a BlackBerry 8520 smartphone and I would like to know how to transfer music from my computer to the phone. I received a CD but I don’t understand it very well..

Thank you for responding.

Hello, when you connect your BB Curve to the computer using the cable, there are two options:
either you use Windows Media Player and drag items from your library into the sync section, or you go through the file explorer by copying the songs from the music folder.

      Hello everyone.
      For beginners!
Here’s how to do it, but first, install your BB=Black Berry without forgetting to select mass storage during installation, otherwise you have to modify it beforehand.
To transfer photos, music, etc. from PC to BB, here’s how to do it; it's the same for everyone. I’ll detail it for music. For photos, it’s the same except you need to select photos instead of music.
For the convenience of Black Berry users, I will use the informal "tu".

I will explain this to you in detail but simply. Just follow the clicks I indicate. Know that your music is better off in MP3 format (to save space on your Black Berry’s Micro SD card).
      So preparations:
Connect your Black Berry to your PC via USB.
On your PC click start, then music, it shows you (favorites, library, computer...).
Look at the bottom under computer to see if BLACKBERRY appears in the drives with a letter (H, I, J, or another). If it’s there, we’re good to go. (If not, disconnect and reconnect the Black Berry!)
      Attention, we’re starting!
On the left column, go to computer.
Scroll up with the cursor to Black Berry (H)(I)(J) above your reading; this
      will make transferring easier later.
      Click on Black Berry
Click on the subfolder (Black Berry) that just appeared below.
A list of subfolders appears (including music). Here’s one step completed.
Now look at the top in "LIBRARY", below appears
      the one for "MUSIC".
Click on it, then click on "My Music".
Miracle, all your albums are there. ;- )
      Double click on "My Music".
A second column appears on the right with all the albums.
      We’re almost there. ;-)
      So now.
You drag one by one, by holding down the click, your albums from your Album list in the right column to your music folder on your Black Berry in the left column.
PS: you can do it by "copy-paste" but it takes a bit longer.
A window will appear with each transfer telling you the number of songs, weight, etc.!
The same goes for photos and others to be transferred.
I hope I made it clear for you and others.
      Best wishes.

It's a bit hard to follow, I'll try again tomorrow. It needs to be more detailed for some parts, but it seems simple.

I just did it, it's great and super easy. Thank you, angel from 81. P.S.: when the angel says at the beginning, your BB file is on your computer, you just need to click on it.

    Hello,
When I connect the BB Curve 8250 to the computer, it asks me for a code, so I can't transfer music or photos from my PC to my phone.
If you have an answer, thank you.

Well, I found it^^ actually when you connect the BB with the provided USB cable, the phone asks you if you want to enable mass storage. Answer YES and voila, the BB appears magically on the computer screen. Then, drag or copy-paste from PC to BB.

I have the same problem. When the phone asks me if I want to activate mass memory, I clicked on "Do not ask me again"!!! I don't know how to make this message "reappear" when I connect my BB.

I have a BlackBerry and I have the cable. But I don't know where to plug it into the unit or I don't know, I don't know anything except that on the other side I plug it into the charger slot.

So let's stop complicating our lives with all these pointless comments!!! :)
The simple thing to do is:
if you have iTunes and want to put music on the BBC (BlackBerry Curve)
you first need to connect your phone to the computer... (put it in mass storage mode, which it asks you as soon as you connect it) then copy the music to a document and finally, you'll see a small "computer" icon, so you click on it, then go to the "BlackBerry" section and after that, you copy the music (which is in the documents) and paste it into the "BlackBerry" section!!!! Simply!

      If you don't have iTunes:

you copy the music from one of your documents, then you put the music in the "BlackBerry" section (which is in the computer icon)!

      There you go =)

    Hello everyone,
My problem is that I have a Blackberry Curve 8520. Everything is fine except for one small detail... Where do I plug the USB cable into the phone? I only see the charger hole, no other. I tried with the one from the charger but it doesn't fit.

    Thanks in advance.

It's the same hole as the charger at the top on the left side of your phone, or you might not have the right USB connector cable - 8520...

    Hello;

I own a Samsung Player Star 2, I have a USB connection cable, and I would like to download music from my TOSHIBA Satellite C660, an ACER ASPIRE M3100, and an ACER ASPIRE Mini tower.

Everywhere they tell me to install software and do 3000 manipulations, I understand absolutely nothing about my phone,

If someone could provide an answer to that..

    Thank you in advance.

Here’s what I found: Well, plug the BlackBerry in mass storage mode and copy and paste your files into the music folder.

You can do the same by removing your microSD and putting it into a card reader...
