Hello,
Do you know the book: The Book of Stars by Erik L'Homme?
Honestly, I loved this trilogy and like many of its readers, we would like a sequel ;). But still no sequel...
If you have read this trilogy and like me want this trilogy to one day become a movie, find actors who could play the roles of the book's characters. (Just for fun, who knows? Maybe one day it will actually be made into a film :))

Despite everything, I really enjoyed this series, it's really nice (even if it's starting to feel dated for me)^^
And honestly, I don't see the point of a sequel.

To answer the first question, no there is not yet a film project for this trilogy and I mostly agree with KoOrigan, a fourth volume would be superfluous and could even tarnish the currently clear image of the trilogy. As for the choice of actors, what I think is that for once we have a French author who manages to transport us like Erik l'homme, why do an English casting... It's true that we struggle a bit to make special effects movies, so why not a company like Lucasfilm for the effects but let’s keep it in France. Moreover, the story takes place on the Island of Is, a FRENCH province!!! Regarding Qadehar, he is, as far as I remember, much younger than Jeremy Irons, his son being only twelve or thirteen years old and given the physical feats he performs, he must be in his thirties or something like that. But if by miracle something like this happens, I want to be in!

I would also really like this trilogy to be adapted into a movie! As for the actors, I really like Jeremy Irons as Qadehar :)
I'm sorry, I don't really have any ideas for potential actors...
All of this makes me want to reread the books :p

I would like both cases, but no news on this subject. You who have read it, which actors would you see in the skin of the characters from the book? (other than Quadehar because I already suggested it ^^)

Hello everyone, this is my first real book that I'm reading, I'm halfway through and honestly I'm loving it!
Personally, I can't say if a sequel would be beneficial, given that I haven't read the end yet^^
But I don't want to find out because I really got into Guillemot's skin and it's making me dream, and I think it would be amazing as a movie :)

No, volume 3, whether it's finished after, I think it's better. That way, we can imagine the continuation ourselves... :)

My favorite character is definitely Ambre. I love her irony and she is really strong in sports. Sometimes, I imagine myself a bit in her shoes; I do gymnastics and climbing, and I have black hair. However, my eyes are also black...
So I have a hard time finding an actress for her! When I'm on the street or in the subway, I've never met anyone who looks like I imagine her. However, I saw a girl who looks just like Agathe!

In my opinion, there won't be a movie, not enough success I think even if the books are awesome.
Plus, we need to find the actors to make the movie.

Maybe, but if there's a volume 4, it will be pointless. It's better to leave the suspense, and it doesn't necessarily have to be well-known people playing. I could play Coralie, for example.

Well, yes Coralie, I agree, even though sadly I'm still a bit too old to play Guillemot... But who knows, maybe in ten years I could then play the role of Quadehar... Who knows!!! XD

  I just finished the trilogy for the second time and if the author decides to make a sequel, it won't be to restore his powers but to teach him the magic of the Korrigans (see the last paragraph of the epilogue of the third book). I really think there will be a sequel because one rarely ends a book with ellipses.

I completely agree, the suspense in this latest volume is truly nail-biting. I've read this trilogy several times now, and I'm just waiting for a sequel. Does Guillemot have the same gifts for the earth magic used by the korrigans, which is still little known, as he does for the magic of the stars that has led him on all these adventures?
Personally, that's all I'm waiting for—a sequel.
The idea of adapting this trilogy into a film isn't a bad one either, but unfortunately, I'm afraid we won't be as immersed in this film as the book has allowed us to travel and experience such feelings, at least for me.
I would like to embark on new discoveries from the same author; if anyone has a book by Erik L'homme to recommend to me.
