Activate Acer PowerSmart button

Solved

Hello,

I have an issue with my new laptop.
So here it is, I just received it with Windows Vista.
But since I hate this operating system, I installed another one.
I reinstalled all the drivers and the most important one works perfectly.

However, I have two functions that no longer work.
I should mention that my computer is an Acer Aspire 7735ZG.

The button at the top right (Acer PowerSmart), which I believe is used to save battery energy,
no longer works and I have found absolutely no drivers for it.
And I also have a button on the left side of the keyboard (BackUp Manager).
I don’t know what it’s for, but I know it worked before I formatted it.

If anyone knows how to reactivate these buttons, please share your knowledge with me!!!
Because I don’t know what else to do.

I did not receive any CD with the PC, which is becoming increasingly common.
And on the Acer Europe support site, nothing corresponds to these two buttons.

Please avoid messages telling me that Acer is crap or those that say I'm bad at computing; I would appreciate it.
Thank you for leaving me only useful and constructive responses regarding my problem.
I thank you in advance.
Configuration: Acer Aspire 7735ZG Intel Pentium Processor T4200 Windows 7 Firefox 3.5.3

Hello

Try this link: https://www.acer.com/worldwide/support/?Query=Empowering%20Technology&start=1&count=10&seq=1

In drivers and utilities, install: ePowerMg hoping it works

So my problem is solved.
In fact, on the Acer support Europe site, I didn't see but when you choose your computer model, you get a list of drivers but there are also tabs with other programs to download.
So I found the PowerSmart driver and now my button works again.
I'm super happy.
Thank you very much for your quick response.
For once on this forum, I was helped quickly without having to put up with comments like:
you should have just not bought this crap or install another operating system.
And now I'm really happy.

Thanks again!

I admit that this forum has more often non-constructive comments than constructive ones. But that's generally the case for all French forums.
