Memory on the Brother INNOVIS 900

Hello,
I just bought an Innovis 900 embroidery machine. I tried to put three designs stored on my computer into the machine’s memory.
My computer is in one room and my sewing is in another. So I move the embroidery machine to connect it to my computer’s USB port. Then I turn off the machine to bring it back to the sewing room. The transfer goes through fine until I turn off the embroidery machine, and I then lose all the saves.
Is this normal? Can I not keep designs in the embroidery machine’s memory?

    Hello mcd1952; I might be a little late but better safe than sorry...

    Once your pattern is on your embroidery machine, open it as if you were going to embroider it (before turning off the machine!) by touching (with your finger on the machine’s screen) the pocket with the arrow pointing up (don't forget to touch the design first to select it). Then touch the pocket with the arrow pointing down on the right side of the screen. that’s it! the pattern is saved! you can unplug your machine and move it to the other room...
    To retrieve the pattern and embroider: touch the pocket with the arrow pointing up on the embroidery screen and there you’ll find the saved pattern. you just need to select it and touch the pocket (again...) with the arrow pointing up!
    There you go! I hope I’ve been clear

      I managed to find the trick to recover my motifs! I’ve now become a pro (kidding!) and I’m able to make nice creations with the machine.
