Hello,
I loved an American miniseries in three or four episodes that aired on TV in the 80s. This show chronicles the life of a small American town over several time periods: each episode corresponds to a different era. I clearly remember that the main thread of this film is a serial killer who the audience knows about but no one in the film suspects. In one episode, a corrupt cop often on a motorcycle tries to blackmail him, but the killer kills him at the last moment. This killer has buried all the bodies in his garden over the years, and in the end, the police catch him and dig up his yard to discover an incredible number of skeletons. It's a really gripping series, and I would love to be able to watch it again!
Thank you for helping me if you have any idea; that would be amazing.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have any other information to share with us? A character name, an actor's name, etc...

Thank you, that's exactly the TV movie I'm looking for, but unfortunately you don't have the title, that would be really great. Keith Carradine, who plays the role of the killer, is called Foxy Funnderberg in the TV movie...

Hello, if someone knows where I can find this mini-series on DVD, I'm interested!

P.S.: What's funny is that I remember pretty much the same thing as you: the killer who buries his victims at home (even a cop with his motorcycle) and the scene at the end where the police dig at the murderer’s place to unearth the bodies ^^

Good evening ver@

It's an excellent mini-series with Brad Davis, Keith Carradine, Charlton Heston, Billy Dee Williams. I'm "modestly" happy to have found it before you. Have a great weekend.

Super awesome!
I've been searching for the name of this movie for years.
I remember seeing it on TV twice.
I've spent hours on the internet looking for it... proves it had something memorable.

A big thank you to Atila99!

Here's a series I didn't know about! Maybe because it's a thriller!
Well done, Attila, and have a great weekend too!

Hello

this mini-series is not quite a thriller as it takes place in the southern United States over a few decades
from the 1930s until it stops in 1963 with the assassination of JFK in Dallas. So it’s a mix of crime (serial killer against a backdrop of racism) really very well done as a mini-series.

There you go for your television culture which is already very broad.
Have an excellent time under the sun, I hope for you.
